Common Questions about the Somatic Exercise Teacher Training Courses:
What if I am not a massage therapist or a movement teacher? But I am interested for my own health or pain, can I still take this course? Yes. The Somatic Exercise Teacher Training Program Level 1 is broken into 3 levels, for a total of 100 hours. To become certified, participants must; complete all 3 levels, submit all logged teaching hours, and pass a proficiency exam. Some participants may choose to only do Level 1 and then maybe Level 2. In which case this participant would not be a "Certified" Somatic Exercise Teacher. However they would certainly learn enough for their own personal practice.
Do people experience emotional releases during Somatic Exercises or movement? Yes, some people do. CLICK HERE for more info.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance after each module? As long as you are present for the entire course, which for online classes means having your camera on and being visible, you will receive a certificate. Instructors hold the authority to deny a certificate of attendance if participation does not meet the criteria outlined above. What if I want to pay by ETransfer? What if I would like to "refresh" module? "Soma on the wall" if you have already taken module 1 or 2 and would like to "refresh" or "review" one or both of these modules, you may now do so at a discounted rate of $150 per module. You will need to bring all of your materials from previous course. You will be able to observe and take part in the course, however priority will be given to those who are taking the course for the first time, for leading exercises. Should I take modules 1 & 2 back to back? Yes, if your schedule allows for it. Taking both modules 1 & 2 back to back is highly recommended. It is a great way to start your Somatic practice.
